Dear Partner,
It wasn’t that long ago I would have said, “Bogota? What’s Bogota?” Here’s the answer: Bogota is a city up 8,700 feet in the Andes Mountains in Colombia. Almost 9,000,000 souls live there. Bogota is clean, prosperous and safe.
Colombia has been famous for the drug cartels. Thousands have been kidnapped and murdered. But a new day is dawning. The government is reaching a peaceful settlement with the rebels. The doors are opening for the Gospel.
There is a right time and place for everything. We went to Russia at the right time in 1991, and saw the Glory of the Lord. Hundreds of thousands came to Christ and 20,000 souls were baptized. It is not the right time now for us to go to Russia for a huge citywide campaign. Everything has changed.
But it is the right time now for us to go to Colombia. God has been preparing the soil for the Gospel harvest in that city of the skies.
