Does God Still Work Miracles?

Dear friend,

Today I have just watched a video that tells me that miracles still happen. An email was sent to me by Samuel, a man from Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Here is his YouTube link that shows the amazing video. (The dove flies over at 2:13 on this video.)

This white bird was seen three times at our meetings. After one meeting with 140,000 people in
attendance, a young pastor said to me, “Some of my members testify that a white bird flew low over the meeting tonight.” That particular night I was preaching on the Holy Spirit, the Dove of God. I did not on that occasion see the white bird, but some of the locals did.

I saw the white dove on the last night.

Then while Pastor Garcia was singing on the last Saturday night, the white bird returned flying low over the audience. I was at the back of the stage with some government leaders when I heard the cries and shouts of the audience. At least 150,000 souls were in attendance and they were excited at what they believed was a visitation from God. 150,000 sets of eyes saw the “dove.” I too saw the bird.

That night tens of thousands came forward as a visible manifestation of their willingness to turn from sin and turn to Christ.

That final Saturday night followed an amazing Saturday morning when tens of thousands gathered at Ela Beach to witness the baptisms of 2850 souls in the sea. It was the same evening of that same day that witnessed the return of the “white dove.” This is what is seen in the video sent to me by Samuel.

Recently I received a message from a journalist that the white “dove” also was seen by thousands at the Ela Beach baptism. Thus the “bird of God” came three times to our meetings, and hundreds of thousands testified that never before had they seen a bird.

The crowds at the meetings were convinced that God indeed had sent them a message: “The Holy Spirit is here in these meetings and He is calling you to come to Christ.”

Dear friend, look at the YouTube video. What does this mean to you and me? It means that we are living in the hour of His power. It means that where and when the church is willing, God supplies the power. It means that we need to invest our resources into Holy Spirit filled evangelism. Miracles do happen when we trust and obey God’s Word.

It also tells us not to listen to the cynics, defeatists, and naysayers. God does great things when we have faith and put that faith into action.

God will bless you, dear friend, when you have faith and invest in evangelism that works. Your gift right now will open the windows of Heaven and bless you.

EMAIL ABOUT THE WHITE DOVE

Hi Pastor Carter,

Warm greetings to you and the Carter Report Team in the name of Our Lord, God Almighty. My name is Samuel Kiele. I am from Papua New Guinea; a member of Gerehu SDA Church in Port Moresby. I am currently undertaking my first year of post graduate studies at the University of Wollongong.

I’m emailing you to let you know that I’ve posted a video on YouTube, of the time when the ‘dove’ visited us again on the final day night of your evangelistic meeting in Port Moresby on 11 August 2012. I went to the meeting every night (except for the night of the 10th), and I would record the beautiful music on my phone using the video feature.

Because I was more interested in the music than videoing the performers, I would press ‘record’, but hold the camera face down; which meant I was recording the music, but videoing the sky. Well, it so happens that the dove flew over my phone when Pastor Willie Garcia was singing ‘Blessed Be The Lord God Almighty’ that night. I didn’t realise that I had the dove on my video until I checked my phone after the event. I didn’t make the video public until now.
