When you’re on a long journey with the kids in the back seat, it’s reassuring to know that you’re on course. Sign posts along the way make the journey bearable, and hopeful. Will we be there soon? 
The prophecies of the Bible are like sign posts along the way. Significant prophecies predict the following:
1. The worldwide influence of a once dead church. The Papacy is back. (See Revelation 13:3 and article “Will America Become A Catholic Country?”)
2. The threat of annihilation. Behold Iran, North Korea, India, Pakistan and others. (See Revelation 11:18)
3. Demons from the Bottomless Pit. New insights reveal that Satan is getting ready to take over the whole earth using demons. (See Revelation 9: 1-11)
4. A church drugged into insensitivity and indifference. (See Matthew 25: 1-13 and Revelation 3: 16,17)
5. The message of Christ to the world. Tens of millions (maybe hundreds of millions) in China are seeking God. Witness the lady pastor with 20,000 members whom we met recently. (See Matthew 24: 14)
Prophecies 4 and 5 pose a contradiction. The answer: In spite of an indifferent church, God will take His Message to the world in His way, with or without us.
I personally want Him to use me. How about you? I want to be involved in His last movement of grace to a perishing world. The very urgency of the hour compels us to attempt great things for God while expecting great things from His hand. Please join The Carter Report in the following missions of grace and divine power:

Will America Become A Catholic Country?
The greatness of America is her Protestant heritage. Her bold and daring founders refused to bow the knee before kings, prelates, or popes. They took their stand on “the Bible and the Bible alone.” The fearless band of Protestants who landed at Plymouth Rock came to this blessed land because they wanted religious freedom more than life itself. They came, fleeing the wrath of the Roman Church, and with faith in God carved a nation out of a wilderness. They and their offspring became the hardest working, most innovative, independent, productive, self-reliant race the world had ever seen.
Today, that vision of the “Pilgrim Pride” is going the way of all flesh. Policies hatched in Rome and Washington are flooding the nation with tens of millions of earnest souls who know nothing of the Protestant faith that gave birth to this land we lovingly call America. Good and earnest though these multitudes might be, they come from poverty stricken Catholic countries where the pope is king and Mary is queen. We wish them every blessing, especially spiritual enlightenment, yet recognize they are helping to transform the very character of the nation. Within 30 or 40 years (at the most) America will be a Catholic country, and the pope will be king of the U.S.A.
Even now, the signs are ominous. Not one Protestant sits on the Supreme Court. The rights of minorities may soon be in jeopardy.
Lovers of freedom, without recourse to sectarianism or racism, need to awaken before it is too late. Even now the wolf is at the door. Now is the time to launch a holy “counter-offensive,” not with politics or words of rancor. Let all who prize our precious heritage awake, arise, and evangelize. Now is the time to preach again the pure Protestant faith that made America great. Remember, freedom was not born in Rome, neither does it live there. That’s why the Pilgrims came here.
