The Carter Report is not waiting out the “Recession Storm.” We are going ahead in faith, believing that God will continue to supply our needs. By His grace we are:
- Looking to Jesus, and not at bad news. Bad news is often exaggerated, inaccurate, and downright depressing. While not acting like Pollyanna, we need to remember that Jesus is in charge, and not to give too much credence to moaners and grumblers. For starters, try missing the TV news and reading instead a few of God’s Promises. (Hebrews 12:2)
- Expecting God to honor His Word. If something is God’s will, nothing can stop it. God owns all the silver and the gold, and He has promised to supply the needs of those who trust and obey. (Philippians 4:19)
- Investing, not in Wall St., but in building the New Jerusalem. When the Stock Exchange crashed at the end of last year, I made a deliberate decision to take my retirement savings and invest that sum of money in the work of saving souls. I can testify that God is blessing me. Invest, dear friend, in heaven! (Malachi 3:10)
MEXICO “ON HOLD”
Murder and Mayhem in Mexico
Because of the deteriorating situation in Mexico, the United States Government has warned us not to go. At least six thousand people were murdered last year. Rape, murder, torture, and kidnapping happen every day. We still plan to go when the Mexican government restores security.
What are our immediate plans for Mexico? We have recorded a full evangelistic television series in Spanish, and we plan to broadcast God’s Message “south of the border.” It cannot be overemphasized that the average Mexican abhors the violence, as much as we do, maybe even more.
Now is the time to boldly preach and teach the uncompromising truths of the 3 Angels of Revelation 14: 6-12. This is no time for timidity, faint-heartedness, or “business as usual.”
