The economic news is bad but I have good news for you: The up look is better that the outlook. “Why,” you murmur. Because God has promised to look after us. “My God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
The economic news is bad but I have good news for you: The up look is better that the outlook. “Why,” you murmur. Because God has promised to look after us. That’s for sure. Read it for yourself:
“My God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19) Also read: “I will open the windows of heaven and pour out so many blessings that there will not be room enough to hold them all.” (Malachi 3:10)
God has gone on record: He will be there for us in good times and bad times, and the barrel of oil will never run dry. AMEN!
Now, while you and I personally may be as pure as the driven snow, America has got herself into this dreadful mess without any help from her enemies. Greed, corruption, and plain old-fashioned stupidity have finally come home to roost, as the saying goes. The insane program of borrow, spend, and borrow some more has finally caught up with us, and indeed this nation and the world may well be in for a rough ride. It had to happen. “Whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap.”
BUT, (thank God for His “Buts”) God’s people will survive and even thrive while others throw up their hands in despair and collapse like punctured balloons.
There is a condition to our peace and prosperity in tough times. It is FAITH and OBEDIENCE.
“When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way,
While we do His good will,
He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.”
God says, “IF YOU ARE WILLING AND OBEDIENT, YOU WILL EAT THE BEST OF THE LAND.” (Isaiah 1:19 NIV)
Now is the time to walk by faith. Now is the time to GIVE to support the preaching of the Gospel. If ever there was a time when the world needed God’s Good News, it is NOW. God’s blessings to me will be in proportion to my faith and obedience.
As you read this letter, I will be on my way to Russia. I plan to visit the Moslem city of Kazan, capital of Tartarstan, where God used us to raise up a new church. I will take evangelistic meetings there for a week before traveling to Nizhni Novgorod and Moscow for other meetings and appointments. The new believers over there face many challenges and difficulties, and I am determined to support them while God gives me breath. While some in Russia are very wealthy, almost all of our members are poor. They are worthy of our support.
Right now we are also working on “OPERATION ENGLAND,” where there are now more Moslems attending mosques than Christians attending churches. A great and terrible spirit of doubt, despair, and disbelief has settled over the church in some parts of that fair land, and we have a plan in the works to distribute to the English people 250,000 FULL MESSAGE DVDs at a cost of a million dollars. Some might question our going ahead with these evangelistic projects at this time of financial crisis. We would remind such that God is not restrained, confined, or circumscribed by conditions that have been brought about by the foolishness of men. We are resolved, with God’s help, to move ahead with faith and obedience.
Please don’t look at circumstances and loose heart. Remember what happened to poor old Peter in the storm when he took his eyes off Jesus. With Jesus, you and I can do the impossible. “With God all things shall be possible.” JESUS
Please continue to stand with us. Please support God’s ongoing work in India, Russia, England, and the Hispanic world. The Gospel ship is going home to Glory and now is the time to get on board.
Please be my faith partner. Please write today and give as God has blessed you.
Thank you in Jesus’ name. May He bless you with more blessings than you will know what to do with.
