Caesar preaches the Gospel

Dear Friend,

 

Our watchword is EVANGELIZE.  What does it mean?  I think most people have got it wrong.  They think it means teaching church standards, healthful living, and a good lifestyle.  Those things are important but they are not evangelism.

 

The word evangelism came from the ancient Greeks.  It was an expression they used when reporting a great military victory over a dangerous foe.  The person who came running with the good news was the evangelist and in telling the good news he was evangelizing.

 

If you go to a meeting and you feel worse after it, it’s because you didn’t hear an evangelist telling the good news of Jesus Christ.  You probably got a load of GOOD ADVICE, but no GOOD NEWS!

 

Evangelism is the passionate telling of the good news that Jesus has died for our sins, defeated Satan, been raised from the dead, has forgiven our transgressions, is on our side, is our deliverer, and is coming again to take us to the Gloryland.  Good news indeed!

Please meet Pastor Cesar* Cardenas.  He is with us for a very important evangelistic assignment.  He is translating our new 21 part TV series, shot outdoors to an audience of more than 100,000 souls, into the SPANISH LANGUAGE.

Why? Because there are hundreds of millions of Spanish speaking people who have been born and bred in a system of BAPTIZED PAGANISM.  That odious system is described in our Bibles in Dan. 7, 8; Rev. 12, 13, and 17.  They need to hear, not the bad news of church traditions, but the GOOD NEWS of JESUS CHRIST.

 

Cesar is powerfully preaching and translating the Message.

 

WHAT DO WE PLAN TO DO?  Get these DVDs into the hands of Spanish speaking people.  Here in the USA.  Especially south of the Border, down Mexico Way.  And further south.  Also on Spanish TV!  This is true EVANGELISM.  If you have Hispanic friends, you now have an opportunity to let them hear God’s great good news!

 

We are ALSO doing evangelism in the Philippines.  Our colleague Pastor Harold Harker has just returned from Manila where we are about to commence broadcasting the Good News on TV.  We are also planning to run a giant citywide campaign in that part of the world.

 

The hour is late.  Time is running out.  Millions are going down into Christless graves.  Principalities and powers are waging war against the Bible, Christ, the Christian home, and the Church.

 

Now is the time to evangelize. 

 

Your gift to light a fire in a dark place is needed now, more than ever before.  I need to raise a million dollars for evangelism in the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, India, and LATIN AMERICA.  Buying AIRTIME is expensive, but is a powerful means to spread the Message of God.  We will see great results as we cast aside our doubts and move ahead in faith.
