Dear Special Partner, 
 
I can feel it in my bones. Something really big is about to happen. People everywhere are taking sides. In the USA, Republicans are at war with the Democrats, and the Democrats are at war with the Republicans. The Liberals are at war with the Conservatives, and vice versa. America is not only at war with China, America is at war with herself. China is at war with the West, and Russia is at war with Ukraine and anyone who calls the invasion a war. The whole world is getting ready for the final showdown. Sounds a bit like Armageddon is brewing. 
 
But in some things, we will not be involved and take sides. There is so much hate, so much lying, some much evil. BUT in some things we will be involved. We will say what we believe is Truth because Jesus said the Truth will set us free.
 
In the midst of all this confusion and noise, this war of words, this cacophony of chaos, we choose another path. 
 
I described it today to Angela who came to help Beverley with some of her work. Angela is fearful of the future. She worries about death. She has just lost her father. She confessed she is fortified by a daily dosage of her little sugarcoated pill. She has been happy to live in the big brave world of denial. I told her that would never do. She listened.
 
I told Angela the “Unbeliever” that there a big God who loves her more than her father ever could. I told her this God wanted to have a relationship with her. I told Angela that the mess in the world is caused by SIN, and that Jesus came to save us from our sins. I told her there is life after death, that life can be beautiful, and at the end of this rutted road some call existence, there is the Fatherís House with a room for her. I told her there was room for, “whosoever will.” 
 
She has just finished her work and dropped by to say, “good-bye.” I told her again she is special to God. 
 
And so are you dear friend. This belief of ours is worth living for. It is worth dying for. It is worth sharing. So look up, Pilgrim, if you squint a bit you just may see the “Gleams of the Golden Morning.”
