Dear friends, greetings.
As Christians, we witness the great United States divided as parties and politicians continue to sow the poisoned seeds of dissension. While we cannot change human hearts, we can ask God to change us. Jesus has told us to love and forgive our enemies. This is something that is normally impossible. But with Christ, nothing is normal and nothing is impossible.
Let us put aside the passions of the past few months. Let us have peace.
Let us wish President and Mrs. Trump, Vice President and Mrs. Pence, happiness as they leave the highest offices in the land.
Let us obey Scripture and pray for those who rule over us. Let us pray for President and Mrs. Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and spouse, that God will bless them, and especially use them to stop the dreadful Pandemic that has killed more than 400,000 American sons and daughters. It is estimated that this carnage will soon grow to half a million. God have mercy.
Let us be watchful and careful. Let us be vigilant and avoid spreader events. Let us be part of a healing process.
